No one is unable to make a difference.
Take time to watch this and be inspired.
Have been keeping u guys waiting?? haha.. There u go, post on the school basketball championship! =D
Brenda was involved in the Lodge International School Teachers' Day Celebration Student-Teacher Basketball Competition. The title itself was such a hoohah already, not to say the competition. LOL!
At first I was quite reluctant in taking part in the competition because I DO NOT PLAY BASKETBALL! When I told friends and parents about this, they were like... "You...??? Basketball????????"
Doubt my ability now lah huh? Well well... you hear with your own ears the astonishing result lerhh?? Those who haven't hear from me about the result.. be patient and keep reading.. =)
The team in turquoise tops was warming up at the basketball court before 2.30pm and the whole court was surrounded with students at high spirit anticipating to cheer for their friends and teachers (to butter them up. lol!). Our manager, Mdm Margaret, is the teacher-in-charge of the school Red Cresent.
The audiences were ready, the timer was ready, the referee was ready... the players were also ready to fight for their glory....
>>> "We score which side ahh???"
"This side... this side..."
"This side har.. OKOK!!"
>>> The ball was started off by our school principal, Mr Alan Roger. Both team players couldn't wait to smash the ball to their side and hit the very first score.
>>> Wahh.. student jumped so high, tiam lah teachers' team. Remember which side was the teachers'? Right ah... duh duh *tsk tsk tsk*
>>> "THE BALL IS MINE!!!!!!". FYI, the teacher holding the ball is a AH MA(has grandchildren) already... Keng lerhhh??!
>>> Kintio ahhhh!!!! Teachers: "Do not let them get the ball!!!!"
>>> AhhhhhHHHHHHhh..... SCORE!!!!!!!!!! Proudly announce, Brenda from the teachers' team scored the very first 2 points! *CLAP CLAP*
>>> Brenda in action! =D
*** The teachers continued to score, score and score....!! lol! Finally it's time for break!***
>>> Walau... What a way to butter the teacher up lah, Tertia... FYI, Tertia is a korean girl. She will look more lovely to me if she is more obedient.
*** The championship match continued... ***
>>> Now we need to shoot the opposite side.
>>> Run till tired lah... So HOT somemore...
>>> WahhhhHHH.. Score!!!!!!!
>>> Score lagii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>> Again????!!!! Paiseh lerhhhh... =P
>>> The students also got score lah.. hehe...
*** Result ----> *DENG DENG DENG DENG* 29 - 12. Teachers won with 29 points!!!!! Nearly 2.5 times of the students' score lah... We eat salt more than u guys eat rice ah.. dare to challenge us... =P ***
>>> VICTORY!!! =D
There was a football match after the basketball match. Teachers (AC MILAN) VS Students (Red Cresent).
^^^ Special thanks to my photographer - Hanna Permata =) ^^^
Thought:
- Had fun with the teachers and students.
- Priceless memory of teaching in Lodge International School to be remembered for the rest of my days.
Good news.. Good news!!!
I finally get rid of the P stickers off my cars! haha.. Brenda is no longer the P license driver.. Now pro, ok?
One night after prayer meeting....
It was the first time I drove Stephanie back, FYI.
Stephanie: "Brenda, u just get your driving license, is it?"
Brenda: ".... HA.. HA.. HA..."
LOL!
Apalah.. No more criticism like this, ok? Me now pro on road. ErkHemmMM.. Do u not agree with me?? =P
Another tiring day..
Thoughts of the day..........
1. Why the Lodge rich kids never complain to their parents about the SUPER HOT maths room and request to fix an air-con in there for everyone's sake?
The scorching heat in the maths room is frustrating!
MATHS ROOM=FURNACE!
I tried to SEEK HELP from one of the teachers whom I thought was able to lend a hand and her respond proved me wrong.
TIME: 2.30pm
Venue: Lodge International School
Me: "Miss Ann, the room is EXTREMELY HOT and the students were suggesting to me to move to an air-conditioned room, is it possible for us to do so?"
Miss Ann: "Oh, I understand that Brenda, but I don't think there is.. (She didn't even bother to think for another second). *Turn to the students* I'm really sorry for you but there's nothing that I can do. It might be good for you because it helps to burn fat *grin*"
WHAT THE......????!!!!!!!!! Nah.. don't wana mahuan yourself say lah...
2. Why does the pointer of the petrol gauge of my car never go down ever since the day I pumped the petrol few days ago? (Meter minyak sik turun <--- according to Ben, my automobile solicit)
Petrol gauge rosak eh?? I don't know!!! I should feel happy for the mild consumption of petrol of the car, but why do I start to worry about it? lol!
3. Would people call me workaholic if I tell them I am thankful for the busy day?
From 7.30am-12.20pm, taught in school and went to pick up sister from her school after that, reached home at 1.30pm and had lunch and watched tv for a while and rushed back to school for class from 2.30-4.00pm. Reached home. Chatted. Wrote mail. Now blogging. Dinner. Then tuition from 7.30-9.30pm. Workaholic I am! lol! I think I should be thankful for the busy day because I will definitely miss it when I have to go back to the life of goyang kaki at home for the whole day, having nothing to do, bore myself to death... again...
4. Who would trust God in finance more than those who give to the church 100% of their salary of the month?
Church pledge. God has blessed us abundantly, time to bless the church back!
THANK YOU, FATHER, FOR THE BLESSED DAY! I WANT TO GLORIFY YOUR NAME IN MY FAMILY AND WORK PLACE! AMEN!!!
The joy is unspeakable, oh Lord,
come and fill my heart again.
Your love is immeasureable, oh Lord,
what makes me worth of what I've gained?
I feel so close to You when I call You my Heavenly Father.
for You care so much of my welfare.
Your amazing love satisfies my soul, Heavenly Father.
True satisfaction is found in You and no elsewhere.
Why worry when God has everything in plan?
He's the Jehovah Jireh, my Provider.
Your grace is all that I need to sustain.
I claim victory in the name of Jehovah Nissi, the God of banner.
So grateful to serve a Lord whom I call Abba Father.
Complete happiness and forgiveness is found in Him but none other.
You and You alone will I call my Saviour.
Chain of sins is broken and I'm free like a soaring eagle.
Last craze: Spring Waltz
Usually, the drama will only captivate me IF the main actor is good-looking. Any guy below the GOOD-LOOKING standard, never will I even finish the first episode..
BUT..
Things are different this time! Gosh, I watch this drama because of the actress! Han Hyo-Joo. She is SO pretty!!! I love her smile.. No wonder she was selected to be the main actress of this drama-Spring Waltz.. her smile is like the flowers that blossom in spring time!
This is the first time I'm so into a girl that I surf for her photos.. Normally I'll only search for Rain's photos.. hehe..
I love this one...
I guess the theme colour for the drama is green. The actors and actresses in the drama always appear in green outfit especially Han Hyo-Joo.
Guess how old is she?? She's born in 1987! Same age as me eh!!! Gosh.. how can she be so pretty??? 170cm and 46kg. OMG!!
The guy in the drama not eng tao one lah. Seo Do Young. He only looks good from certain angle. He looks a bit like my friend (who is going to INTI Nilai for Law-BEN!) hehe. Picture? Absolutely.
Aiyo, I feel sorry for posting such a... not-so-good-looking picture of his lah.. alright, get u a better one so that u will not lose appetite for tonight dinner.. =P
He looks better in this pic? Indeed. lol.
