Christians...
Time to stay out of your comfort zone!
I was revising the sermons and lessons I learned during Malaysia National Convention and I came across this sermon by Pastor Jeff which I found a quote of his meaningful --- if we makan Christian, tidur Christian everyday we will soon forget how sorrowful is it to be in the darkness. Then, we'll soon lose the passion to reach out to the lost! Friends, stay out of your comfort zone and have passion for those who still dwell in the darkness. Pray for God to let them see The Light and join the GREATEST project since the creation of the world --- Saving souls!!!
We're working for the biggest company, highest authority with the richest CEO expecting the greatest reward in the whole wide world! Work hard to earn your commission!!!
Let me tell u a story...
There's this pair of very best friends. Closest soul mates and supporter of each other's. There's nothing that they hide from each other and they communicate in such a way that more than what words can do.. They have so much in common except for one - different beliefs. One being a faithful Christian and one being a happy-go-lucky free thinker. The Christian never intend to share the gospel with the other. Probably the Christian ever once thought of doing it, but never really take it into action due to the lack of courage and thought it was the way to "respect" the other friends's belief.
One day...
both of them get into an accident and both leave the world, but they go seperate ways. One raised to the heaven and another straight down to the hell. Before both say goodbye to each other for eternally, the free thinker asked the friend bitterly.
"How can you do this to me??? I thought we're good friends? How can u not tell me the secret to eternal life?? And now I have to endure this eternal fire of hell..."
The last thing that the Christian could hear from the friend was...
"I thought you're my best friend........"
Friends,
Can you imagine this happening to you and your very best friend or closest and dearest family? "I trusted you so much.. I thought you're my best friend.. how can u not share this good news with me??"
How can we let this eternal seperation happen to us and those dearest to us just because we DO NOT have the courage to share the good news or worry of being rejected?
This is a message for you and me.. I wish to encourage you and me myself..
Stay out of our comfort zone and reach out!
I prayed and asked God to put the burden in my heart...
How about you??
